We specialize in living art. From living walls and aquascapes, to ponds and enclosures. If nature allows us, we will do it.
We will service up to 75 miles outside of Altoona, PA for residential and up to 125 miles out for commercial.
Typical maintanance sessions, are from Forty-five minutes to one and a half hours depending on amount of maintenance needed.
We have not yet reached our max level of creativity. We are continually growing, and the more we understand nature, the more we will push the limits.
Qscapes is not only service based, in-store we sell rare & uncommon indoor plants, fish, axolotyls, aquatic plants, and various rock & wood pieces, along with Ultum nature system equipment.

Meet our Founder,
Quaron Meakens
Quaron Meakens is the driving force behind Qscapes. His passion for aquascaping ignited during his military service in East Asia, where he learned the art of creating beautiful aquatic landscapes. Together with his dedicated team, they work meticulously to bring stunning visions to life, and each of their designs tells a story. As a way to heal PTSD, his journey has led him to compete and place in several aquascaping contests. He believes that mental health can simply be healed by getting closer to nature. He is committed to mastering the craft, placing in the high rankings of the IAPLC, and honoring his heroes and legends, such as the Green Aqua team from Hungary and the legendary Takashi Amano right here in Pennsylvania, by spreading the world of aquascaping.
